I knew a guy in high school that slept through every AP class but never made less than an A

I remember when me and my lab partner did research for a project but only put it together 5 minutes before the presentation because he forgot to put it together (we had to do it crazy fast lol) . Also, we were missing group members but got a good grade

I remember I once had a science fair project with a friend that we'd completely forgot about that was due in like three periods and had to fake all of our experiments. We got a C+. Last minute pressure is not that cruel, sometimes...

I've gotten 100s on projects I started two hours before being due!

Okay, first of all, what the heck kind of "project" is this that he started in the bathroom? Secondly, I'm grading projects in my classroom, and one of my students confessed she did had just done hers the night before (they had 2 weeks to work on them) but it was honestly done so well that she got an A regardless. I had students who didn't procrastinate not do as well because their execution just wasn't as good.

Some people do well under pressure. What was the project exactly?

A week ago we had a group project where we had to do a 90 minute seminar in front of the class, we planned the entire thing over 3 hours and made most of it up on the spot but it turned out really well and the teacher was impressed, sometimes things just fall into place last minute
