It requires non-drunken, written consent. What it does not require is that someone be a good decision maker. I bet no one in those commercials thought their mom would ever see it, or they didn't read the "we own your footage and might use it in national commercials" part of the contract. Either that or they're just a crazy ball of unresolved daddy issues, and they're hoping their dad is a GGW collector.

YDI. At the same time though, i think people are flipping out a bit too much... All the feminists talking about how cruel men are, and everyone else is treating her like she's some sort of subhuman species... then the pigs feel the need to add "i enjoyed watching you", "you must be hot", etc... It was funny the first 3 times, guys, but it gets pretty pitiful after that... yall are the reason her self esteem has withered away to the point where she would do that sort of thing. People are really only seeing two extremes in this, all I can say is... It'll be awkward as hell for a few weeks then blow over. No big deal.
