Today, I was texting the girl I am in love with. I was dropping hints about liking someone who I didn't know if they liked me back. Flirting a little. And just when I thought she'd say she liked me too, she said "Don't worry, if you were straight, I would definitely date you!". FML

Even if she is a she-beast, being kind about it is minimally decent behavior. Anything less is assholish. Trust me, back in high school, I was the kind of boy who asked girls out and got held up to public ridicule and mockery for doing it. It sucks.

I'm actually jealous of OP. Nobody has confessed their love for me in nearly a decade and truly meant it. I'd kill for even a mildly attractive and somewhat mentally stable girl to declare her love for me and not just be jerking my chain. I wonder if this girl left something to be desired in those departments.
