Today, I set up a hidden camera in my room so I could prove that my sister beats me up when my parents aren't home, since they always accuse me of lying about it. When I showed them, they wasted no time accusing me of "provoking" her off-camera. FML

Take the video to the police. Proof of assault, as well as criminal negligence on the fault of the parents.

I try not to condone violence but in self defence cases.. I'd learn to fight back. FYL

call the police or child services. this is NOT ok. protect yourself by having other adults in authority by your side. maybe move to live with another family member. good luck.

Please talk to an adult or a teacher you trust. I'm a high school teacher in Australia and if a student confided something like this to me, I am required to tell my principal who will then take action. So sorry you're going through this, OP.

You and your family need help. You are being "scapegoated", and it is not your fault. Start by talking to a school counselor if you dare trust him, but start to tell someone else. Hang in there!

I had the same thing when I was little. Shit, She still does it and lies to my parents about it. Shes ******* 21. Im 13.

I can only hope that the OP's sister will grow up and get out of this bullying stage and be more considerate about OP's feelings. Suggesting that OP fight back is not good advice. If OP is getting beaten up it means the sister must be older, maybe larger and that's why OP has not fought back. And if OP does fight back it will create an even bigger conflict because now it will be a fight of who is stronger and as of now, the bully seems mentally and physically stronger due to the fact that OP has not fought back. But fighting back is not the solution to this problem.

For everyone saying beat her up that's the worst thing you can do. If your parents are already blaming you for this TAKE THE VIDEO TO THE POLICE. IMMEDIATELY. ALSO record your parents blaming you for it. Bring up the topic again in your room. You MUST have this so they cannot lie to the police. This is CHILD ABUSE.

I'd say it's time for a good old fashioned **** punt.

Please take your video to the police. If your parents favor your sister that much, honestly, you'd be better off with different parents.

Hey I'm not sure who you are but please report this to someone you trust - friend, a cool teacher, counsellor, doctor, police, someone. Physical violence and your parents not doing anything about it is not ok. It's pretty bad as it is now but it can get much worse, not just physically but mentally as well.
