Today, I sneezed and ended up in the emergency room. How? Apparently the sneeze dislodged a kidney stone that is now slowly, painfully working its way from my kidney to my bladder so that I can piss it out. FML

Good luck I had a 12mm stone that got impacted and I started going septic

Really? You can take medicine to break up the stone(s) ai believe, and there is also an electric tub you can sit in (yeah ******* scary) that I have heard of, and also can't recall the name of, that will break up the stones. Good luck.

Lithotripsy, it's called lithotripsy .

There's also a laser that can help break the stone up. But for some reason it can't be used on everyone, although I have no idea why. I think I'd almost rather they cut it out of me than make me pass it if they couldn't break it up. Sounds like one of the worst things ever!

It'd be worse if taking a dump caused that.

That's one powerful sneeze...but it's one way to get rid of it right? Get well soon OP

I'm gonna pray for you because I heard when you pods it out. it Hurts like a mother------. God bless hope you feel better

There should be a show to present all these incidents where "sneeze sent me to ER"

Working on trying to be rid of a kidney stone myself (for a month now)...this will be my 2nd one in 6 months, so I understand your pain.

Holy crap that sounds awful! Is there anything they can do to prevent the stones? Any meds you can take? Hope you pass this one soon and that you stop getting them!! Kidney stones are seriously one of my worst nightmares!

Hope you're better soon OP!! I've never had kidney stones, but I know what it hurts like. My sister had them a couple years ago.

Ouch, my father suffers from Kidney Stones the best thing he was ever told was to drink Potassium Citrate (tastes foul) as it helps to stop infections from the stones passing through! Good luck and see if you can get some good pain relief!
