Today, I spilled my heart out to a guy by showing him one of my poetry journals. He read through it and said, "Wow, I feel sorry for the guy you wrote about." The poems were all about how I loved him. FML

I've never met a man that either a: liked sappy poetry or was b: able to read hidden meanings. Here's a hint........ just tell him outright! .... men, they may be pirates but they're crap at reading clues.

I feel you OP...that does suck =( But perhaps you should be more open about your feelings rather than showing him love poetry cause, let's face it, most guys aren't into that kind of thing. And those guys who are calling OP obssesive or saying that no guy wants to read that stuff quit being insensitive. I find writing as a great way to reach out and relieve stress and pain and I would be stoked to have a girl write love poems about me.

I'm sorry, but... Your poetry probably sucked. This is not being mean. I'm just be logical. Statistically, almost EVERY single person in the entire world is a horrid poet, especially when it comes to writing love poetry. There are only a very few good poets out there, and I MEAN a very few. Like 1 in 1000. People are such bad ******* poets! So chances are, your poetry was bad. Please realize this and choose another way to spill your heart out.

ok what the hell is it with girlls and spilling every thing into note books and not saying it out loud so they show others the note book and get pissed about those others not likeing what they said in the book and they dont know its about them if they did they could put it gently

its not just girls dude. i had something like she had but a bit diffrent. sometimes you dont know who you can trust with how you feel or u just don't have close friends so u write in a book. make it sound as gay as you want it to but its very theriputic.
