Today, I stepped on the scale because I'm trying to maintain a good weight. The scale read that I had lost 6 pounds. Feeling really good about myself, I stepped off the scale only to see that the corner of the scale was sitting on the rug, making the scale mess up and tell me the wrong weight. FML

at least you are trying to do something, not sitting around saying that it's ok to be overweight because "some people have genetic disorders" and calling skinny girls anorexic bitches

According to your profile, you're 13. Making you either a liar, or too stupid to submit your real age. And no, fighting with a child doesn't make anyone a pedophile. ******* with a child on the other hand...

#32 wanna make a bet? I was an (aus) size 8, i lost approx 3 kg (about 6 pounds) and my clothes are now looser on me and it's hard pushed to get smaller sizes than an 8 off the rack.

OMG FYL, your life just ended!! do you realize that people around the world are dying of poverty, famine, earthquakes, cancer, etc and you're whining about the scale getting stuck to the carpet!!!!! Do everyone a favour and shut the f*ck up!! keep your whining to your loser self and get a life..

You should maybe take your own advice. Particularly the last two sentences.

I agree with Blue. The OP needs to shut the **** up. This is some petty shit, definitely not a FML.

Why can't we just get along like we used to on middle school and bake cookies and rainbows and eat and be happy?!?????!!

seriously? You think 140 is overweight for your height? for 5'9" the healthy body weight for you ranges from 125 to 169. You are perfectly normal. OP I know struggling to keep a healthy weight is hard but as long as the scale wasn't off by much it's not a big deal.

OMG! You're still the same weight you were before you stepped on the scale!

BMI calculators are definitely not your friend if you're looking to achieve a high muscle/fat ratio, because bmi will just tell you you're overweight, despite having most of it comprised of lean muscle.
