To all the girls saying they'd never use tampons, there's been times when I've had to use tampons and pads at the same time, due to flow. I started using tampons while I was still a virgin, but on occasion, even now, if I try to put a tampon in, while I'm in a rush, it still feels way too tight. Just consciously try to relax your muscles, take your time and you should be fine.
