You won't regret it. I haven't worn pads since I was 13. You know unless you like feeling like you're constantly wearing a dirty diaper.

I couldn't use tampons until after I lost my virginity, I was too tight. If you don't feel comfortable having sex yet, I'd recommend buying a ***** or a vibrator and use that to loosen things up a bit. They're often easier to get in than a tampon, not to mention being aroused will make your body more accepting of it.

i was a virgin when i first tried tampons, and it took me 5 tries, because i wasn't relaxed enough. once you relax, so do your pelvic muscles and it makes it much easier to insert the tampon. it never hurt, at the most it just felt uncomfortable. if you can feel the tampon inside you at all, that means it isn't inserted far back enough, in which case, you just take it out and try again - no harm done. just takes practice, and as far as i'm aware, it doesn't matter whether you're a virgin or not. also, i'm with #258 - ever since i got used to wearing tampons, i never went back to pads. if you find that even the super tampons can't withstand your flow, usually a pantyliner will do as backup/'time-to-change-tampon-alert'.

I've never tried a tampon and don't intend to ever do so. From all the horror stories I've read, that's a good decision. I'd much rather use pads, they're 10x easier to deal with.

i had a hard time bc i got my first period when i was only 9 so i had to wait a few years to use tampons i'm 25 now & i'll only use the regular or light absorbency bc the super & super plus are so big they're uncomfortable!!
