Today, I realized my love life is a mess. I’ve been married for nine years, having an affair with a good friend for over a year, and I'm still in love with the boy who broke my heart years ago, and contacts me only when he is lonely. Today, I went back to my high school for an event with some of my friends, both of which are in relationships. Whilst there we saw our favorite teacher, who hugged us and said, "I heard you have a boyfriend! And so do you!" And then she turned to me and said, "And... And you're doing great things!" FML

I hope that you are happy in your marriage and motherhood. You make it sound as if you wished you didn't have these things just so you could be with him. I'm sure it's sad thinking about what could've been, but I just hope that what is, is something that makes you happy.

Hmmmmmm........this sounds oddly familiar. I was married to a man like this and he left me after finding her on FB after all that time. She was married and had 2 kids.
