If they are from Taiwan, they could actually be named Chinese names. "Harry" and "Potter" could just be arbitrary names someone picked for them so they could have English names. I know two students who are visiting from China who "named" themselves "Zeena" and "Tango." Also, American parents are giving their kids a lot of stupid names nowadays. Remember Balloon Boy? His name was "Falcon" iirc. That should have been a red flag right there.

Falcon really isn't a bad name. It's unique and different. But not crazy stupid like Cocoa or Apple. Celebrities made the trend for Americans to name their children with crazy names. It's just the morons who followed in on it. I named my kids pretty well I think. Jonathan Michael Justin Marshal (yes we purposely left out the second 'L'.) Jordan Tyler Not so original or different, but at least normal names.
