Today, I went into work and noticed one of my fellow colleagues had a large bunch of flowers on her desk. As soon as I saw her, I immediately said, "Happy Birthday!" Everyone went quiet. It wasn't her birthday; her father had died. FML

Today, my coworker said that she suddenly got the shivers. I jokingly told her that it meant she must be being watched by a dead person and made stupid ghost noises. She then told me it was the anniversary of her dad's death and burst into tears. FML

That was rude of you. And wearing black doesn't = depressed. Sometimes it's a fashion statement, sometimes it's because black matches everything. Most of my wardrobe is black and my friends think I'm too hyper and happy to be human.

He would've been better asking him how his father was, THAT would be an honest mistake. Telling someone to change their wardrobe because they look depressed is pretty insulting, and quite domineering too.

A standard case of someone judging someone else before getting to know them. Make it up to him or just leave him alone.. He'd probably prefer you leave him alone.
