Well, why that does suck, it could have been a worse response: "I hate you." "I love your mom." "I love your brother." "I had sex with your dog." "Your entire family has been slaughtered and I wrote 'I love you' with their intestines." "Nice ****!" "About a half past 3." "That just scared the shit out of me." So don't feel too bad.

Why is everyone all up against her boyfriend? It's OP's fault for being "clingy and annoying". If someone annoys you, why keep it a secret, because otherwise they won't stop. OP, give your boyfriend some space. He has a life apart from you.
