Today, I told my boyfriend the dentist said my blood pressure was high. He was more interested in the fact that the dentist took my blood pressure than my blood pressure being high. FML

My dentist did the same, and it showed so high I shouldn't be alive. It is their crappy equipment and lack of knowledge. I have it measured regularly and otherwise it has always been normal.

I'm actually surprised about that too. I've never had my blood pressure taken while at the dentist. Things are different everywhere though.

They take mine at the dentist before doing work ever since the heart attack. Mine usually is on the low end of normal range. It's always high when they take it.
