So... let her. What's she gonna say? "This person refuses to pay me extra because he/she feels kinda sick"? Unless you're underage, there really isn't anything she can do about it. You aren't driving, clearly since you're in a cab, you weren't doing anything wrong... cabbie was bluffing.
I'm going to assume the fee was because you threw up in the taxi, in which case YDI. Pay the cleaning fee and move on. If for some reason this lady is really just crazy, then FYL.

I read the story as the OP threw up in the cab, in which case, yeah, you have to pay them to get it cleaned.

I have the feeling OP threw up in the cab and that's why the driver wanted the extra money for cleanup.
Why didn't you call the police when she locked you in? That's purely extortion.
That's illegal and sorry but I ain't payed ng extra bitch
If you get sick in a cab the company can and will charge you a clean-up fee. If you refuse to pay they have the right to lock you in the car. This is legal, not extortion. It's also completely fair. It's not in the cab driver's job to clean up after you. It's your responsibility to keep it clean. The clean up fee covers the time the driver has to spend cleaning the car and the lost fares that come with it. It's also worth noting that ride share companies will also charge you a clean up fee. Tha
Including clean up fee, it shouldn't be $120. If it's been five minutes, the fare will be around $10 and most clean up fees are $50. So they basically charged them double and kept them locked up so they could take them to the cops for refusal to pay when we don't even have the whole story. Seems to me the cab driver was being rude and taking advantage of OP's inebriated state. I don't think OP was going to refuse to pay - they said they felt sick. Nothing in here even gives the illusion that
Really? Cause cleanup fees can vary depending on the extent of damage done and material of the car interior. It could easily be over $100 and maybe the cab driver only seemed to be driving crazy cause the fare was drunk and they wanted to get them to their destination and out of the car before something like this happened.

YDI for having absolutely no spine whatsoever. Any sensible person would have called the cops and told them they were being held against their will.

I would have declined to pay if she went to the police, you didn't get the service yo had agreed to pay for (being taken home). I would then happily let her explain to the police what the perceived problem is.

She can't do that, legally when you say to stop the driver has to, they can lock you in if you are refusing to pay, but you weren't so she kidnapped you and then extorted more money from you
Unless you were so far gone I would have went to the police, and charged her with kid napping.
