47 is ENTIRELY right! Dude invited his friends out and paid for everyone! His friends organized a birthday cake surprise for him, but didn't have the good grace to pay for it themselves. It's no different than being invited to a party at someone's house and surprising everyone by ordering pizzas and sticking the host with the bill. RUDE!
62 FTW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Well, if you were the one taking them out (I took my friends out to an expensive restaurant... suggests you were the one paying, otherwise it would by MY friends took ME out) it would make sense that you would pay for all of it. But considering it was a surprise from them, they should have and I would have been pissed off too. Next time give yourself a birthday treat instead of your friends.
Hehehe @ #50 :P. That would be fair enough. Its pretty rude of your friends to do that ... And lol @ people who can't read.

That's pretty crappy on the part of your friends... sure they're real friends?
