aww, thats so mean D: but how long were you two dating? maybe shes just not ready for marriage for example, if you only dated for 1 or 2 years. maybe its a good thing that you two wait, cause sometimes couples marry way too soon, when they're not ready.
Wow. In a way, I always feel bad for people who get proposed to when they're not interested - it really does put them on the spot and unless the one proposing is a complete jacka**, the one who says no is the bad guy. That really, really sucks. My sympathy for her ends there b/c she had no reason to be such a . . . wow. So heartless about it. I would have been tempted to snatch her dessert plate away, say 'no' and stick HER with the bill. Even if you handled t he situation with grace, it's perfectly reasonable to break up with her citing the fact that you don't want to waste your time with someone who sends mixed messages. And I mean: not seeing her at all, not hanging out with her friends, insisting that your friends act like true friends and drop her like a bad habit. How awful! Best of luck to you.
