Today, I took off the training wheels of my niece's bike. I tried to show her how to ride it, but she told me to get off because I needed a "fat girl's bike." FML

Your niece should be used as your motivation to lose weight.

A stationary bike..awe no worries op..start eating healthy and exercise..in a way she helped you out

Ouch!!! Crazy kids!!!! Yes I'm sure that is not what she meant, you might want to remind her that it is inappropriate to say such hurtful things!;)

Lol. She did not try to hold back on that one. Seems like something my niece would say to me. :/

Oh, your secret's out! The world, including you, was completely oblivious to the fact that your enormous girth qualifies you as "fat!" The truth comes out of the mouths of babes!

Who is teaching kids these things!?!? Hella no

Should've left the training wheels back on

That wouldn't have helped..

She was worried you would break her bike. A bike with training wheels is too small for an adult to ride and not look ridiculous.

Yeah, I'm sure you'd LOVE your child calling you fat. I don't understand all of these people passing off her comment as 'her just being a kid.' Children throwing around insults isn't cute, and laughing/ brushing it off when they're little will only encourage them to continue to mouth off to others when they're older....and then it isn't so cute.

It was probably her way of telling you the kid's bike is meant for a smaller person's size. But TV, magazines, and Barbie dolls today all play into perpetuating the stereotype that most people are considered fat at strict standards.
