bannedpianoman tells us more.
Most of you are saying this sounds fishy, and I tried to write this part in the FML, but I didn't have room with the 300 character limit... Since I was a senior for only 9 weeks (half of a semester) this year, they refused give me a new school ID. I tried using my ID from Junior year, since I figured 2009-2010 would work, but they said that that ID was invalid starting the first day of this year. They said that my only other option would be a driver's license. Same situation, more details...

why the hell in the world would you need to show proof of enrollment to get a license???? one has nothing to do with the other! maybe u should move to Canada where we don't have retarded rules?
We don't have those rules in the states. And you just have to show valid I'D for diploma. Passport, state issue ID are both viable options as well. This is a bogus FML
Apparently if you are a minor and have dropped out of school you are not allowed to have a license in Texas. Therefore in order to get your license you have to provide proof of enrollment or proof that you have graduated.
don't you love red tape?
Doesn't have to be a driver's license. A Texas ID card would work. Fail.

.....You couldn't take your diploma that you got at graduation and photocopy it?
You can always get an I.D. from the DMV...they should accept that.
