I really can't buy my own detergent, I can't drive yet. I would walk to the store and buy it there, but all of the roads have no sidewalks and the cars don't stop. I do my own laundry, but have to use the soap, and when it gets on my hands it's like instant rash.

Here's what you do: 1. Tell your mom that you have some extra clothes to wash for some reason or another. 2. Actually wash some so she doesn't get suspicious. 3. Take the laundry soap and pour it down a sink. Works best in a bathroom- flush toilet then do it so it just sound like you're washing your hands and the smell can be passed off as soap. 4. Leave a little bit, so when your mom next does laundry she runs out on her own (much less suspicious this way.) 5. She'll have to go to the store to get more. If you can't go with her, show her an ad for some cheap, hypoallergenic detergent beforehand and ask her to get it for you (maybe play it off as the cheap price- moms love that.) if you can go, pick it out yourself. Most people don't question what's in the cart. Good luck!
Do you own laundry :)
oh god. I have the sane allergy. I used to not be able to sleep because of it and during the day I couldn't even focus on anything because of it.
Sounds like the people on FML have mental issues. Doing your own laundry has nothing to do with detergent. OP may not have the resources to buy a different brand. Show of hands which of you bastards actually do or did your own laundry when you lived at home? Yeah, I thought so. OP FYL for having an unconcerned parent. Hopefully you have a family member who can help.
Do your own damned laundry you lazy son of a bitch. I started doing mine when I was ten.
