Today, I underwent several cardiac tests involving heart monitoring nodes placed all over my chest. The lab techs didn't pre-shave the areas and yanked out big clumps of chest hair as they removed the 10 nodes. They laughed, and said it could take up to a year for the hair to grow back. FML

Hair will grow up really fast. They told you 'a year' just for fun I guess.

This would be hilarious if the last sentence of the fml was. "I'm a girl."

ydi for not shaving your own chest hair. sorry, but it's not their job to shave a patients chest hair unless the patient is physically unable to do so themselves. I mean, it's kind of common sense that they're probably going to use those to moniter your heart rate or something of the sort during those tests, that's your fault for not taking the time to do it yourself. they're doctors and nurses not estiologists.

proud of your chest hair much Sasquatch?

4- I remember waxing my legs IT HURT so I assume ripping that much hair off of your chest would be very painful

so get a waxing, then take up cycling. problem solved :)

yes they should have shaved u at least where they placed the electrodes. the likelyhood of the results being correct is greatly decreased. I would consider discussing thus with their superiors. it is feasible that they could screw up someones results resulting in injury to that person

Your comment : don't be such a pussy about being hooked up to an ECG! they're not that sticky any way!
