Today, I visited my grandparents' house. While getting a drink from the fridge, I noticed the Christmas card my family sent them had my face scratched out. When I confronted them about it, they said it was the cat. They don't have a cat. FML

Something tells me you won't be in the will...

Pee all over the floor..then say it was the cat.

Looks like some serious family issues there...unless they have some sort of invisible cat.

****'em, when they get old and ask for help, tell'em you'll be sure to send them to the retirement community...without springing for the silver package.

Damn... I'm sorry that happened to you. Family can be the most hurtful at times but you can't let them get you down. You are great exactly the way that you are and you don't need them. Doing what they did shows a lot about what kind of people they are and they are not worth any bit of your time or feelings.

Oh man, that really sucks OP. Some of my dads side of the family always shunned me and my mom simply because I wasn't my dads biological daughter, when they would invite my stepsister and little brother over all the time. I didn't realize this until I was 16. Things are slightly better now, but it still stings to be the one left out. Hopefully you and your grandparents can work it out.

Boy, what lousy grandparents. Maybe you shouldn't visit them anymore. And if they ask for help with something, the answer, of course, is no.
