Oh boy! First you need to apologize to her for walking in on her. It's your house but she still deserves privacy. Then I would ask her if she's ok and why she feels she needs to do that. Maybe she do Usenet feel loved. Maybe she's just a sexual teen. Talk to her before grounding or doing anything crazy. Good luck.

Giving her privacy isn't being a friend, it's respecting her surrounding area from one human to another.

Privacy has its limits, and should not be given to the detriment of the child. If a 15-year old is using her privacy to strip for strangers, then her parents need to take whatever steps are necessary to keep that from happening. Her safety and well-being are more important than her privacy.

Not quite sure why there are so many YDIs. Kids often end up doing this all the time regardless of the quality of the parent in question. I also question whether it was actually a stranger, or if it was actually a friend she knows online, since I know that was about the same age me and my significant other met online and I'm sure a parent would've easily mistaken our other half as a "stranger". We didn't have skype or cheap webcams at the time, but we probably would've done the same thing if we could've.

Grrr... At least she wasn't 12. Once two preteens thought it would be cool to strip during video chat..to my boyfriend..while I was on his lap. Do girls no longer have any self respect and dignity?

Honestly, a lot of you are jumping to conclusions about this girl's morals or self esteem or etc. Did anyone consider that maybe she is just a horny girl that wants to get off to someone watching? Yes, she is underage. But that doesn't me she doesn't have sexual urges. I've done stuff on random cam sites before when I was sixteen out of horny virgin frustration. I'm a lot older now, but I've still never done drugs, gotten arrested, or headed down some bad path just because of doing stuff on cam every once and a while when I was younger. I am in college now, have a job, and I'm doing great for myself, in my opinion. I also never included my face or memorabilia about myself or where I lived, when on cam. I remembered to stay careful. She's probably not even personally talking to these guys. It's more likely than not a random video chat site. Stop jumping down OP's throat about what a misguided daughter he must have, because of how she vent's her sexual needs.

Just realized my mistake while reading the FML again, saying how it was Skype. That is a little more serious, because Skype requires getting more personal than a random chat site. Hopefully, the only personal info she's given about herself is her Skype name.
