I had d-bag professor who wanted to fail me for missing nearly ever single lecture despite my decent grade. He didnt take attendance but apparently noticed that I just stopped coming. It was the easiest biology class in the history of college curriculums and I went to an amazing charter high school where I already took biology so I didnt have to attend lecture to pass. Since I was a freshman his complaint meant I got put on academic probation DESPITE being on Dean's list the previous semester. I left the class with a high A after being pardoned by my advisor but the professor never apologized. Go straight to advisor, head of the department or dean if your professor is trying to fail you over a personal vendetta. If he said he was going to fail you because your grades such and even an A wouldn't pull your grade up then I understand but it doesnt seem like this is case since you obviously study.
A lot of the business classes at my university didn't state class was mandatory. But if you missed 7 classes you auto failed for some. Usually this gets communicated on the first day of class.
If op was originally failing and got 100% on the exam, but still wouldn't pass, why waste the effort in studying? You can usually do a rough estimate on what you need to score on the exam to determine whether you'll pass or fail. Heck, this is how i determined how much effort and time i spent on each course for studying.
I've had one of those teachers.... I made him get fired best day of my life
You studied for 20 hours straight? Woah. Also, if she did fail you unfairly, here in England at least you can apply for a re-marking by an exam board and if they think you passed, the professor would be in some serious shit.
thats why i left college :)
This is what sucks about college. Professors just don't care.. More often then not. But still report him. You are paying to pass and get an education not be failed!
Go in there and prove him wrong
What an asshole, report him to the dean op!

Find a way to report it, don't let him fail you!
Wow that's a great vote of confidence! Geez what an asshole
