Today, I was at a Chinese restaurant, I'd forgotten my glasses and had a migraine. I was straining my eyes, squinting and rubbing my temples to alleviate my migraine. I was kicked out of the restaurant and banned henceforth because my waitress thought I was mocking her eyes. FML

There are very few Chinese restaurant areas, this was definitely the best for your dollar. Yeah I did try to explain myself but the manager as well as her mother and son came out to yell at me. I just couldn't deal with that while I had a migraine, I shouldn't have been there anyways, MSG often gives me migraines, so FML again.

i get migraines all of the time and they are the worst thing possible to have.. he probably didnt even try to explain because talking or even moving makes the migraine that much worse.. it was probably just easier for him to walk out and not bother. no sense in putting yourself through more migraine torture!

Um, I doubt this is real. If so, then it sucks to be you, but usually restaurants and most other customer oriented businesses aren't going to throw someone out even if they do actually crack a racist joke. They'll typically ignore it and, if the server is really offended, switch servers. And to be honest, I've never met an Asian person who was sensitive about their eyes. I have this bad habit of rubbing my eyes whenever I get nervous and the way I rub my eyes causes it to look like I'm trying to make the slanted eyes and I highly doubt that it looks unintentional, but I've never had any problems no matter where I've been. I did get a few odd looks once when I actually had something in my eye while in a Chinese restaurant and I was rubbing my eyes and trying to get it out, but it wasn't even from the servers. It was from other customers.
