Today, I was at my boyfriend's house and we were just about to kiss. Until his mum walked in saying his girlfriend was at the door. I thought I was already there. FML

You know what? We really don't know enough about this situation to be calling this kid, who is likely in his teens, a manwhore. Especially as teenagers both guys and girls have a tendency to jump the gun in terms of what constitutes a relationship. . And we learn from those mistakes and go on to lead healthy adult relationships later on. The wording of this FML emphasizes the kiss to enough of a point where it's likely either a first kiss or a very early kiss. For all we know this guy just happens to hang out with this girl 1v1 on a consistent basis, they may have kissed in the past and she just assumed they were in some big relationship. . That's not how life works. I'm not saying that's what happened here, but, considering the likely age of the poster and her "boyfriend" it's very very likely. . .So while it may suck from her perspective it may not be his fault.

I should add before anyone comes in saying "ya but he was about to kiss this girl but he has a girlfriend!" that mothers are goofy. . .My mom thinks every single girl I'm seen with is my girlfriend. I remember being in High School and anytime a girl came by the house I was "dating her" irregardless of if I was or not, and more often than not they were just friends. The girl who came to the door may very well be the girlfriend, or, just some girl he just started to casually see [In the adult world, for all you teens, there is typically a phase before dating where you can see other people, because you're just going out to enjoy each others company which is referred to as "casual dating"]. The girl at the door can also just be a really good friend whom mom just happens to think is his girlfriend because they spend so much time together, we really have no idea - The FML is incredibly vague.
