Today, I was at the airport. I was on my way to see my dad for the first time since I was 4. Whilst I was waiting for my dad to find me, a strange man started flirting with me. Irritated, I told him I was waiting for my dad to get me, and to f*ck off. The strange man was my father. FML

Today, after my dad ran off 15 years ago, during which time my mom died, and I had to become my brother's legal guardian and somehow get both me and then him through university while working 4 jobs, my dad turned up on our street. He tried to flirt with me, because he didn’t recognise me. Scumbag. FML

Today, after soccer practice I was looking for my dad. Last night he was an hour late, so I was pretty pissed. When I spotted him, I saw him flirting with a much younger woman. I then tried throwing my soccer ball to his feet, but ended up slamming his head. Only to find out he wasn't my dad. FML

Well even if your dad had you very young, he still seems the type to go for much younger girls. I think also it’s kinda inappropriate that he would hit on a girl while he is supposed to look for his daughter he has not seen in years. Says a lot on his priorities…

Maybe the OP misunderstood something her Dad said to break the tension as flirting? I mean I have had it happen that I got told to f*ck off when all I said was something not even meant to be flirting.
