Today, I was at Walmart walking around when I slipped on some water and twisted my ankle. As I was getting up, a man came up to me and said, "There's some water on the floor, watch out." FML

Your fall could be incredibly profitable if you sue everyone indiscriminately.

"excuse me, ma'am, would you like some salt in that wound?"

Warning is BEFORE something occurs...not AFTER smfh

I'm really sorry that the guy is SUCH a douche, some people just don't have eyes...

Sorry bout the 'i', I accidentally hit send, again, sorry.

As long as you weren't hurt I dont think there's a need for a lawsuit. But I think that dude was a little late warning you. FYL for him being a dumbass.

The point of saying something like that after the fact is to be facetious. I appreciate his disposition.

I am almost positive OP was hurt due to their twisted ankle.

Seriously? I don't understand how people manage to do these kinda things. I can always see water on the floor!

If it's on something like a white tile floor, I usually can't see it unless I get close to it.

Who inspects the floor at all times? Not most people...

You actually CAN sue, if they didn't have a sign. FYL

Actually that's not true, i work at walmart, and I've seen this happen all to often, the only way Op could sue is if he/she make a compliant that prove that it was a spill as a result from an employee and if that spill had been their long, if it was another customer that caused the spill and didn't report it then op is screwed.

Well you do not really know the situation so you cannot assume anything. If the person that came up to OP was a worked then they knew that it was there because it seemed as if they were being sarcastic.

dude that aint true, eg : if i go to your house and something happens to me like a slip and fall on water or sometthing i can sue you ! cuz YOU will are responsible when am on your property. it dusnt matter who spilled the water.

Actually, every store has cameras, and any liquid that they were not taking care of is their problem. They ARE liable.

Not every square foot of a store is covered by a camera at all times, it's too costly and time consuming.

Don't sue op, that'll hurt my bonus, I work for walmart, think of the little people. :p
