pixelbaker tells us more.
The "documents" were basically just data sets pulled from a database stored on a workstation in the office. This workstation is not backed up. Yes, the company is full of morons. No, I'm not fighting it because this was the last straw of many last straws. I don't want to work for these idiots any more.

yeah but there are some computer users out there who are lucky they even know how to type their names let alone close a window. that's when you just take the computer away and give them pen and paper so that their equipment matches their skills
well now u learned your lesson: next time dealing with dumbasses say, "DUUUUUURRRRRR use the little clicky thing to click on the X in the top right corner of the screen DUUUUUUUURRRRRR." "DUUUUUUURRRRRR if you don't want any of your pretty papers to be lost to the delete dragon, press the save button to save them from the horrible beast. DUUUUUURRRR" u gotta speak their language dude
should have told the indivudual to box up the computer, and send it back. your too stupid to be using one.
You should be glad that you don't have to deal/work with those kinds of people anymore.
and that is why you should never be in tech support.
You don't work for TechTeam Global do you? I told a user one time to close all there open windows, he says "I'll be right back" I can hear him actually closing the windows in his house. Ah I DO NOT miss working help desk.
well ppl just get dumber and dumber when new technology comes out

FYL, a person that doesn't know the difference between 'close' and 'delete' shouldn't be allowed near a computer.
While reading this FML I thought it would end with the woman closing her windows (as in the glassy things you can look through), but this is even worse. What an incredibly stupid human being.
