Today, I was at work refreshing the shelves when a man turned the corner and said, very surprised, "You look 12!" A few weeks back, two people did the same thing, only they said I looked 9. I'm almost 21 years old, and just very short. Starting to get just a little self conscious here. FML

You should grow a moustache.

If you're a girl, this will work even better.

Don't worry. Once you're older like in the 40s people will still think you're in the 20s/30s. Ppl pay big money to look younger

I'm almost 23 and get this ALL the time. **** people who say "you'll like it when you're older!" Telling someone they look like a child is like telling a middle aged person they look elderly.

When you're 30 You will look 20, when you're 40 you will look 30. Trust me this is a good thing, l have always looked 10 years younger!

Try not to sweat it. I know that's not easy. Nothing wrong with being short or looking young. Just keep doing you!

I'm 21 and look like I'm 12. I understand your pain. Just roll with it. Get those free kids meals and go to the playgrounds ;P

I know the feeling, except I work in schools. "Oh, I thought you were a student" is a common phrase I hear from people.

I have the same problem! People always think I'm at least 5 years younger than I actually am! FYL

I get mistaken for younger than my age ALOT, especially when I'm not wearing makeup and because I'm short. I can pass for 16 and I'm pushing 30. Good luck Op, it's gonna keep happening for at least another 10-15 years.

Don't worry OP! I'm 18, and only 5'1. I don't look tall either. But, it has it's pros and cons! :).
