Today, I was cleaning my father's study room and wondering why I did not receive my acceptance/rejection letter from a college I really wanted. I found the acceptance letter, on his desk, also approving of a full scholarship. The deadline to confirm was a month ago. FML

I dont' see why anyone says this is your fault. When I applied for schools I applied for several schools and TONS of scholarships. I wouldn't have had any idea when the due date to RESPOND BACK was. Plus some places I heard back immediately, others took awhile. He shouldn't have opened your mail - and if he does, he should have told you right away.

Wow contact someone? I would have checked online, they post acceptance/rejection

maybe he sent the letter for u? no!? or maybe he wanted to surprise you? maan.. im too optimistic for my own good :P

Oh! Wow! That is really ****** up, i wouldn't take to him anymore... For a while at least. How could heee? I'd tell him to pay me the exact ammount of money the scholarship was worth. Or call the college/university and explain the situation, maybe they'll be nice :]

I'm sorry but WTF is wrong with the people who say "YDI". That is just effing wrong and cruel to say. He/She did nothing to deserve it, so you guys have nothing better to do than to click YDI. The truth is FYL to all you "YDI"ers.

Definately a fml. That's your decision to make. Not your dad's.
