It's 4am, so tired I didn't notice it say when HE laughed I kinda skimmed the FML and read it as "I laughed". Thought OP was laughing at her boyfriend farting and then he got mad and spit on her. Well thanks for clearing that up.

It amazes me how many people are interpreting this fml the wrong way; it seems part of the fml community is exhausted. Read it again guys. He sprayed spittle on her when he laughed, by accident.

I did at first. Saying "spit in my face" gives a completely different visual then saying "sprayed spittle". I had to re-read the FML a couple of times to figure out that's what it most likely meant. Not everyone will interpret things the same way. (: The power of context.

Some of the comments here though. Do some of you guys seriously think that OP should dump her boyfriend over a fart? Everyone farts and he was going to do it in front of her eventually. OP maybe your boyfriend was laughing out of embarrassment and the spitting just made it worse. There's a chance this could be even more of an FML for him. My advice would be to just laugh it off and forget it happened.

It's funny how people overact in the comment section. I'm sure she laughed about it afterwards. My boyfriends fart in front of me, it's just make me laugh, there's nothing immature about it and I don't make a big deal out of it. Find someone who respect you more? I'm sure that he respects her. He probably spits by accident. You don't break up with someone over something like that. That would be a childish reaction.
