Today, I was diagnosed with diabetes. I went to tell my grandpa, who immediately said, "I'm sorry, let's go get ice cream to cheer you up." FML

Probably just slipped out out of habit. When one of my friends is down we always suggest going out to get ice cream. Either that or he doesn't really understand what diabetes is.

How about you tell us which type of diabetes you have? As far as I know, people with one kind of diabetes can still eat everything they always did.

Whether you are type one or two, you can still have sweets as long as you account for it and as long as it's in moderation.

Im sorry ive had diabetes for a year anf a half. Im twelve. Its not so bad. It will help you be healthier. Maybe you can get a pump,soon

You can still eat ice cream !!! Ive been a diabetic since i was 8 and i eat ice cream all the time. You just have to bolus for it. Unless you have type 2. Then your shit out of luck.
