Today, I was driving home from a long day at work fixing people's electronics. When I got home, I got a call from work saying I needed to go back and help a customer with their TV again. When I got there, after an hour of driving, I realized I'd accidentally kicked the power cord out. FML

Today, I was setting up comcast cable boxes for my house. I had the packaging everywhere when I finished. Looking admirably at my job, I backed out my door, and stepped on bubble wrap, scaring myself. I flailed, fell, reached out, grabbing one of the cable wires. I pulled the cable box and my modem off. Today, I knew my wife and kid wouldn't be home until later, and I was excited to play video games and relax. The second I turned my computer on, the power went out. It came back on as my wife was pulling into the driveway. FML

Today, I was sent to a customer's house to switch out a washing machine. My boss had assured me that everything I'd need was already in the truck. Halfway there, I ran out of gas and I realized I didn't have the gas card. My boss says it's my fault. FML

Today, I was called into work to fix up their projection system. I drove 40 kilometers in peak hour to get there. As soon as I parked my car and was about to walk in, I got a phone call saying "Don't worry, we fixed it, you don't have to come in." FML

FOR THE LOVE OF GOD AND ALL THAT IS HOLY, NOT THE CORD!!!! oh wait... you just... yeah... you put it right there and.... yeah oh ok I gotcha... false alarm heh... hey listen sorry about... nah no worries. I just need some sleep so I can wake up early to do this all over again. shitty hours huh?... yeah man they're killing me. hardly spend anytime with the kids now, and there is just too much going on to do anything with em. especially at a job like this. just smile and take it like yah can man, or snag something else. some people aren't cut out for other types of works. do something you like and stick with it for awhile. its hard to find something that you love to do, but you should never stop trying.
