I'm glad I quit WoW too. I got into it for about a month and quit. I would be a super-nerd for ever if I didn't.

Omg I'm so sorry ! I was addicted to WoW for three years, and quitting was super hard lol. I'm still super close IRL to my guildmates I met ingame... luckily they all quit or I'd be right back on the bandwagon haha. I feel your pain :]. GO GO ask your family to return the gift & get you something else (maybe a set of weights? p90x?). I'm sure they'd be happy for you !

I kind of understand OP's pain. I can't stand video/computer games but at one point ages ago when I had nothing else to do I made a WoW character on my brother's account, and it was sorta addictive! I didn't like killing stuff because I sucked at it but the rest of it was pretty fun. But after a month I moved out of the house and into my own flat and didn't have a computer - I thought about going home occasionally to play but I just forgot about it. Obviously OP quit for a good reason (i.e. it was ******* up his life) so I would say return it or give it to someone else. Don't let it lure you back in ;)

I used to play WoW and broke away from mmorpgs . I've started a clone of Wow called Runes of Magic now and I'm back in again . Oh well at least it's is free .

Friend started to play that game.....I haven't seen him since....lmao

and fyi for the person who said that runescape is better..i used to play runescape before i discovered wow and wow is waaaaay better...unless ur retarted and cannot learn to play a complex game that requires using your brain..in that case..runescape is perfect for you

@mustangsami118, If you call WoW a complex game, you've got issues... Try playing a puzzle based game, or something that isnt almost turn based, such as a First Person shooter. Team Fortress 2, Counter Strike, Left 4 Dead, all good complex games. And then there's also complex things outside of video games, such as sudoku, rubik's cubes, and possibly getting a university qualification.

Oh, wow... It took me about 9 months of wow to quit. Be in mind I wasn't a noob. It simply got boring and I went on with my life. What did I do next? play my wii/DS(i).. Yeah lol.
