Today, I was feeling proud of myself because I finally quit World Of Warcraft. I later found out about the gift my dad's family gave me. It was a 12-month subscription to World Of Warcraft. FML

Or just learn to play casual without losing sight of more important things in life. Relaxation is important if you need to blow off steam, and if you do that by playing that than who cares, as long as it doesn't disrupt your life.

World of Warcraft MMO, large player base, many class/races to choose from, solid PvP and PvE, 80 lvls of fun, side professions, fishing. what's not to love? addiction is all in your head. if you're "addicted" to wow, you choose to be. it's a great game. but not heroin. I play it, my friends play it, and only one out of the three of us is a virgin. we arnt nerds in supercalculous, and I have a girlfriend. these wow stereotypes are false. I pity the fool that didn't check out the Mohawk grenades!

the mohawk grenades sucked though.........

That game can be dangerous. If you have an addictive personality and enjoy the game at all then stay away! I played well over 2000 hours in the year that I had an account. A girl I liked finally convinced me to quit, but I consider myself to have been an addict for that year. This was during high school, and every day I would look forward to coming home and playing after school was over. I had little desire to hang out with friends and the only thing that kept me in shape was playing soccer (I signed up for soccer year after year because I had a desire to be good at it, but I had no ambition so I never was), and when I did do those things I still wanted them to end so that I could get back to WoW. People can play the game normally without issues like this and still continue having a regular life, but the game is designed in such a way that it's very easy to spend more time on it than you should and to do so for several months or years. It's not that bad if you have self-control but there are certainly better hobbies out there (many of which are rewarding, unlike WoW). Anyway, to the OP FYL for getting a gift that tempts you back into something that you're avoiding. Maybe you can sell it on eBay.

can u tell me the account name and can I have ur accouny

I know exactly how you feel. I quit WoW four months before Christmas. I make sure everybody knew I didn't play that game anymore. And what do I get for Christmas? A WoW subscription and a Horde shirt. I returned the shirt, but the subscriptions aren't refundable, so I sold the code to someone using my guild's forum. Go hang around http://wowdetox.com for a half hour and you'll never want to play again. And lastly, the best thing I could ever do with that game was sell my account for a few hundred $$ to some chinese website. You can get your money back from that game.. too bad I'll never have that time back.

I've been playing WoW since shortly after the original release. I love the game and all, but never once have I been "addicted" to it or had a hard time stopping myself from playing. There was about a year period that I didn't play at all, and I frequently take several month long breaks when I get bored of it until it interests me again. Yes, I tend to play a lot when my subscription is active, but it doesn't bother me at all if I can't play it for any length of time. I really don't understand what's so hard about quitting it- just find something else to do that interests you.

shahs find a girl who doesn't mind and **** her when she's asleep "sapped girls can't say no"

I agree with 158 - You don't have to stop playing, reduce the amount you play and stop thinking of the game as an MMO! Just play it like you would any other game or sport. For those who don't know the subscription is locked to his account, it can't be gifted away.
