Today, I was getting ready to go out with my family. As I was putting my phone in my purse, my father told me I wouldn't need it because we were going to spend 'quality time' together. The entire time I was there, everyone was staring at their phone. I was the only one without one. FML

My family is like that. Any time I go visit my parents they pull out their phones or tablets and then when I get bored and pull mine out too, they complain I'm on my phone too much.

I know how you feel, as the youngest person in the family I was often the only one without an electronic, so when ever we did something or went on a road trip, all of my siblings would be on their devices, but in the long run it helped me as a person and with my social skills
