Today, I was given the ultimate ultimatum: either I suffer excruciating stomach pains and remain a hostage to the porcelain whirlpool goddess, or I stop taking pain medication and face the wrath of a raging infection in my jaw. FML

Or option 3- go see a reputable factor who will treat the infection rather than just hurl a prescription for Vicodin at you like some two-bit hack. Jesus, I think some "doctors" get their MD degrees out of a ******* Cracker Jack box.

You have to choose between an infection and a goddess? Tsk, you've got to be kidding me, what are you whining about?!

Ahaha! Agreed x') But it's fuuuunneh :3 Although, I'm guessing this guy is a Star Wars / Star Trek addict with no friends.. But it's still fuuuuuunneh :3

It's a side effect of his meds. Jesus. OP, try taking the meds with yogurt or probiotics or both. Probiotics were my saving grace a few years back when the doctors couldn't figure out what was wrong with my digestive system. Still though, I'd take the stomach pain, because I've had it before and know how to live with it for a year. A few weeks on meds to get rid of an infection is nothing.

No way! Why suffer side effects if you don't have to? Just stop taking the pills! It'll only be a short time before the bone becomes infected enough to remove it entirely! Then you'll be totally pain free! It's not really an ultimatum. Take the damn pills and suck it up. Being sick for a few days (hell, even months) beats losing half your face due to a bone infection. And if it's truly unbearable, ask your doctor it there is an alternate medication.

You should try to eat some food prior to taking your pain meds. That should help with the stomach cramps and loose bowels. Did your Dr give you antibiotics too?

Co-amoxiciclav and metronidazole/flagyl? Yeah.. I've been there. Like, last month. And more than likely next month too..
