Don't places like that usually stamp your hand or something in case you have to leave? You should have checked with security before you left.
been there, done that, now I know not to leave a concert until it's done
Dumbass...ydi
You do know that never works, right?
Concerts are always no re-entry. They have multiple warnings about it before the entrance, and it even says it on your ticket. What, did you think NO RE-ENTRY meant "No re-entry, for everyone except you because you're just so gosh darned special!"? YDI.
Wrong. Here they stamp your hand first time in, you can go in and out as many times as you want. it isn't ALWAYS no re entry.
But it's best to just assume that it's no re-entry. If the OP would have just assumed it was no re-entry then they wouldn't have had this issue.
Yeah, some venues change their rules about reentry for big name bands. It's possible that the OP had been there before and done the same with no problems. Lots of smaller places let people in and out all the time, so the hipsters can go smoke their cloves and whatnot between sets.
It makes absolutely no difference how far out you went, you went out. You should never have gone inside while holding a ticket for someone else in the first place. There are plenty of places you're allowed to leave tickets for people for situations exactly like this. It's not your friends fault you failed to realize the venue did not allow re-entry, nor is it her fault you didn't bother to ask if you'd be allowed back out. I'd have gone in to see the show too.
Next time wait for your friend outside. Or give her her ticket prior to going to the show. Valuable lesson learned.
Can't really be mad at your friend.....
I went to see "Creed" last night in concert and wanted to grab something out of my car. (But already knew I couldn't.) There were "No Re-Entry" signs everywhere. Why should your friend suffer because of your stupidity? You think the rules don't apply to you for some reason? Why are you surprised she left you? She wants to see the concert too.
Lol. People actually want to go back in at Creed shows? I'm surprised Creed and Nickleback don't get exemptions from the fire marshal so they can lock people in! Just teasing, sour. I'm not a fan, obviously. :P
Haha, I understand. I go to a lot of concerts. It's a date thing I do with my husband. We've been together for 22 years so we've run out of gift ideas. You're right "Creed" was only okay. But it was the first time I was in the pit section! I've been to much better concerts. Last concert was "Rob Zombie/ Korn". I'm guessing that is not your type of music also.(;

YDI. Everybody knows that once you leave the venue there is no re-admission. And there are usually many signs at the entrance to tell you this. And I wouldn't blame your friend. Why waste 2 tickets instead of just 1 because you were too stupid to talk to a security guard or read a sign.
That dick biscuit.
