Today, I was late for a medical school seminar and test. An SUV flipped over on the highway right in front of me. I held pressure to gushing, lacerated artery until EMS arrived. He lived, but I might have to repeat the whole year because I missed a big test. The test? Emergency response medicine. FML

I am sorry it ended up screwing you over but what you did was so cool. Think about how many lives you helped by saving that one person. Who knows how many people would have been devastated if that person died. Parents, siblings, SO, children, friends, etc... lives would have been forever changed if you hadn't been a hero today. I'm proud of you.

Wow the fact that you aplied the knowledge learned in med school in real life should have bonus point on your exam...

there's surely news footage proving this? you should sue your college if they don't let you resit!

Either way dude you saved someone's life and went above and beyond what an average person would have done, that my friend is worth missing a test over be proud that you saved someone's life and made sure that a family did not loose their father.

I say you get 100% for complete awesomeness in reaction time

You would think that would be enough to make up for the test and make you pass. Sometimes ya gotta wish you had a video camera duct taped to your forehead.

Nice job idk you but if I was the professor id give you a 100% just cuz you put the class into work already and it saved a life

this reminds me of something similar that happened to me earlier this year. I was walking to a human biology laboratory when I saw the professor trip and fall. I asked if she was okay, to which she responded that she hurt her ankle. I then helped her to her feet and helped her walk to the lab. When we got there, we were both 15 minutes late; She thanked me for helping her and told me she couldn't let me into the lab because I was late and I would have to reschedule to retake the lab, on Saturday, when I was planning on going out with my friends. (To stop the trolls from complaining, I feel compelled to say that I in no way believe that helping an injured professor is comparable to saving that guy's life)

I think that deserves a pass. Well done on saving his life. That's a really amazing thing to do
