Tell The Ems To Call The Hospital. It Should Make Up For The test And Then Some
I think the act of competently applying theoretical knowledge to a practical situation warrants him not needing to do the test at all but instead be given the highest grade that can be awarded (and also publicly acknowledged) Whats more effective at assessing knowledge? A written test or saving a life?
Nonsensical FML, even without being a repost. You are legally obligated to render first aid if possible as a first responder. No medical school or credible institution would make you wait a year to retake a test in such circumstances. At absolute worst, you'd have to pay another test fee if applicable. So this is complete fiction. If something like this actually happened, I'd hire a lawyer and institute a lawsuit against the institution, and they'd immediately reconsider their previous decision. You might be out a couple hundred in lawyers fees, but you'd get your year back.

Have them call the hospital.
I am sorry it ended up screwing you over but what you did was so cool. Think about how many lives you helped by saving that one person. Who knows how many people would have been devastated if that person died. Parents, siblings, SO, children, friends, etc... lives would have been forever changed if you hadn't been a hero today. I'm proud of you.
