Today, I was lecturing my high school students on the importance of a good education. I pointed out the janitor in the hall and told them if they didn't stay in school, they'd end up like him. Then one of my students raised her hand and reminded me that the janitor I pointed to was her dad. FML

Today, the mother of one of my students bitched me out about her son's poor grades. He lazes around all day, paying no attention and being a constant nuisance. But, she says it's not his fault, and demands that I give him better grades so he won't get "self-esteem" issues. FML

Today, I lectured my second-grade class to be more descriptive in their writing. I gave them an assignment to describe something in the classroom. I was grading their work later, and one student wrote, "My class is taught by a fat teacher with gray hair." FML

Today, I was sent to an elementary school for safety day. One of the dads was asking about my job, when I told him about the long hours and high stress involved. He turned to his son and said, "Now see why you stay in school?" I'm a paramedic. With a bachelor's degree. FML

Today, I was doing my job and trying to teach a lazy bunch of 16-year-olds. A girl entered the room just 15 minutes before class ended, so I snapped, "Someone had better have died for you to be this late!" She immediately burst into tears. Turns out, someone had. FML

Today, I had to go to my 10 year-old son's school to talk about my job being a chef. As I was almost finished, I asked the kids "What would you like to do when you grow up?" Without hesitation one kid replied with a straight face, "Anything but being a douchebag like you." FML

Janitors actually make pretty good money. I work my butt off in a supervisor position and know a few janitors that work less and still make more money than I do. You can bet your judgemental butt that if a position like that opens up, I'm applying for it! Then hoping and praying I get it. You should aquire more knowledge for yourself before opening your mouth next time

You completely deserve that one, what a bitch! My dad was jobless for a while and ended up having to take a job at target when I was younger. He went from a six figure salary to minimum wage not because the job market was bad and it took him a while to find another job in his field. For all you know that janitor could have been a rocket scientist who just couldn't get a job. It's not your place to point out that his current job is not the best.
