Wow, you're a complete asshole! You deserved it, but the girl and her father didn't! You actually POINTED a specific person out in the hallway?! A live person who has FEELINGS, bills to pay and a DAUGHTER TO SUPPORT! I seriously hope that taught you a lesson about respect for other people! It is NOT okay to humiliate someone to prove a point--especially not to impressionable young people! Teachers are supposed to practice respectful behaviour--you are supposed to set a good example! I fear for the future of the world when people like you are teaching the coming generations. You should be fired and re-hired as the janitor, while the janitor should get your job.
Yea you're a bitch :D
Ydi, you're an asshole.
Op's attitude is exactly why people these days turn their noses up at jobs in places like McDonalds. Teach your students that if they want to do something they truly care about, they're likely gonna have to do some specialised study and work hard in school. You mostly want to teach them that it's good to do what work they can. hammer it into them that even if they can't find a paid job at a given time, they can go and work for charity. It's good for their morale, AND their CV. Teach them stuff like this. Do not belittle people for their jobs. Congrats, you went to university. You got a degree, and now you dedicate your life to trying to encourage others to do the same. That's fantastic. But for the love of God, reign in the ego and be a decent human being. That other people don't do the same doesn't make you better than them.
Being a janitor is a highly respectable profession. It makes life easier for those who think such work is below their dignity. And the world doesn't need a bunch of straight-A students getting fancy jobs, it just needs a lower amount of imbeciles.
And your a teacher? You should maybe re-think your career!
Maybe you shouldn't judge people. So what if he is a janitor? He is doing what it takes to support his family!! You suck at life...
Better a janitor then an ignorant self absorbed teacher. I can't believe you educate chrilden with that attitude. You make me sick.

Ydi. A lot of people end up with jobs like that because they can't get anything better and at least they have a job.
Serves you right, OP. Why would you even say that? At least he ha s a job, you're not better than him or anyone else who does "dirty work".
