Today, I was looking through my boyfriends phone, when I found a naked picture of myself. Too bad I haven't sent him any. Ever. FML

130: You're a jerk. Women have a right to their own damn bodies. If he's creepily taking pictures when she's asleep or something, that is a crazily ridiculous invasion of her privacy. Don't normalize mistreatment of women. Also: Rot in hell. To the people saying "at least it was of you", I refer you to the idea that women have a right to their bodies. If a **** star or someone wants to be giving out naked pictures, that is her right to do so. If you do NOT give consent, IT IS NOT OKAY. I would rather find **** on my boyfriend's phone than something so creepy and objectifying.

At least it was you and not someone else

There are a couple of things at play here. Her consent to have a nude photo of herself was obviously not given. That is a huge violation of trust and respect. Whether the photo was passed to him or he took the photo is irrelevant. She doesn't want him to have it. He should respect that. I don't want people having naked pictures of me- they could end up anywhere. So if he took a secret photo- ew. And if it was forwarded on to him- he should have said something. She shouldn't be going through his phone- but obvs it was justified by what she found.

You should have respected his privacy.. YDI!

I love how everyone is saying she should have respected his privacy by not going through his phone yet he didn't respect her privacy by taking a nude of her without her permission. It doesn't matter if she is "lucky it was you and not some other chick". Looking through your SO's phone is not something I see as a big deal as long as you have permission. Looking once is a break of trust but can be repaired. A nude? That is grounds for breaking up or him having to earn her trust back for a long time. Nudes have the potential to live on forever while sneaking a peak once, while frowned upon, will not do any long term damage. Doesn't matter if he has seen her naked, a photo can be passed on and used against her forever and if she doesn't feel comfortable with giving that out to him or anyone ever that is HER choice and HER privacy to be respected.
