Being a twin, op, I can rightfully tell you that getting mixed up even when you're both guys, sucks even more.
How can that suck more? There is no addition of suck when you are both guys. When one is girl and one is boy, the additional suck is being recognized as the wrong sex.
I think because some people consider twins to be one person and when you're the same gender that tends to happen more. When you're girl and boy twins people will make more of an effort to call you by the right name. However, same gender twins get mixed up way more, so I think that's why he was saying it sucked more, as it's more likely to happen and more often.
You dont necessarily have to wear dresses or skirts... I don't. But you're obviously wearing something misleading. Maybe you're the type that wears only t-shirts... So I'd say switch it up!
If OP wants to dress like that, they can. If it bothers them enough and they want to change their looks, they can too. But, it's their choice, and you shouldn't say that it's "misleading", it's kind of sexist to imply that certain clothes can only be worn by certain genders. Girls can wear t-shirts and hoodies and jeans, boys can wear pink and skirts and frills, if they choose. Really, people can wear what they wish.
You CAN wear whatever you want. I never said she couldn't. But seeing as she isn't happy with the attention she is getting with the clothes she is wearing then like I said... she should switch it up. As for the misleading... Certain clothes are made for women and certain clothes are made for men. Yeah they can wear the men clothes or girl clothes, but if you do then don't complain about your f'd up life.
Time for a makeover??
Doesn't necessarily mean you look masculine, your brother might just look feminine or androgynous. If it really bothers you that much, maybe get a haircut or dress differently?
Thanks for continuing to push the sexist stereotypes that only women can wear skirts and women only wear skirts.
