Its comon for people to reach over the top of stall doors and snatch purses off the hooks and run. If the new one was still in the purse that would be a simple explanation. She might not know a better name for the theft at the moment she wrote the fml. Mugged does sound more exciting. (That's why I always wear my purse around my neck in public bathrooms)

That just seems so unnecessary. More than generally mugging someone is to begin with, I mean. At the same time, I am super confused as to where OP was changing her tampon to be mugged. Not that there's anywhere that would make it a YDI, but if it was in an alley or something, that's just gross.
