...If the money would have been in a debit card it wouldn't have been lost.
Unless OP is like me and can't be trusted with a debit card. I stopped carrying mine, because I'd just use it out on a whim and end up over-drafting all the time. So now I withdraw what I need, when I need it, and it saves me money in the long run, but yeah, there's always that risk of being mugged or losing the cash.
16 just..just stop
glad my books are online
It doesnt matter what OP coulda or shoulda done, there are a lot of reasons why they were carrying cash instead of having it in a bank or prepaid card the fact of the matter is they had cash and got mugged now they are screwed cause they can't buy the shit they need for school, if it was me i'd be pissed. Those of you that say YDI are asshats
Haven't you ever heard of a bank? Now you should save up for a gun to protect yourself.
Lol, no OP would probably get mugged heading out to her the gun!
ahh yes the old prison method would work well
all the studying in the world couldn't help you in the streets. school smart I'd rather be street smart
it was the tax man!
Plenty of other people have said it but I'll say it again--that's why I never carry a huge amount of cash and use debit or credit for large purchases, so YDI! Not only is it safer, it's way easier if you need to return something. Stores usually have policies where cash returns are limited to a certain amount and often have to be refunded in the form of a corporate check. My job issues checks (which take 5-7 business days to process, much longer than a refund to be applied on a debit or credit card) if the purchase exceeded $200 and people usually spend way more than that where I work!
dumbass think, what if they stole the purse or stole their wallet/billfold? The debit card is gone and so is ALL of their money. And their insurance information, lisence, and other potentially important piece of legal documentation. So you would risk credit fraud over some pocket cash?
Hmmm.
Milk is gross...

Next time, roll up your money, put it in a tube and carry the tube in your rectum.
