Today, I was on the phone with my boyfriend while looking at Halloween costumes online for this year's Halloween party and said, "Maybe we could go as Bonnie and Clyde this year." He said, "Maybe we should go as a broken up couple," and hung up on me. He wasn't kidding. FML

#28 is right. Halloween is a joke. Mass commercialism ruined another celebratory festival/holiday. Adults should know better. A couple would best be dressed as Frankenstein and his Bride. Or werewolves, or dracula and his concubine. There's no respect for the festival of the dead anymore. Granted, kids should not be scared out of their skin, they should understand halloween with a little thrill and a little education about why halloween came around. I'm all for giving them candy, but they get an extra piece if they know what Halloween was/is really for. (Be ready with 6 questions when groups come to your door lol) I give them handfuls if they play a nice trick (non-vandalism type). Tip: Halloween party invites should now come with a "Theme: Haunted/Spooky" information
