Today, I was painting the garage door. After 3 hours, I finally finished the job. As I was walking back inside, accidentally pressed the button that opens and closes the garage door. Not only did the paint job get messed up as it went up, the paint also dripped onto my parents brand new car. FML

If your painting a garage your parents should know not to have there care anywhere near it alot of things could have happend you could have spilled it dropped the brush etc.. its not your fault your parents should have known better

You're not even supposed to paint garage doors, right? Mine's got a sticker on it that says not to paint it. Also, if your paint was on thick enough to drip, it would have streaked and messed up anyway... wouldn't it?

wow - thinking isn't your strong suit is it?

Sounds like you stood out in the sun too long, or didn't use enough ventilation. Next time, don't let yourself get that exhausted/loopy.

How do you "accidentally" press a button? It should be right next to the door and the smell of paint plus the 3 hours you worked should have told you to not push the button.

That sucks! I have accidentally hit that button before on my garage and it is just annoying

Hmm this one I think you deserved, for not knowing how to paint...

I've never done this before but I'm calling fake. Unless I missed something you said the paint dripped onto the car for that to happen, wouldn;t the car have to be very close or directly underneath the door? so why and how would you able to paint the door with the car underneat the door and is this an american garage door or an english one? because I'm referencing to an english one and i don't know if they go up differently.
