Today, I was placed firmly in the friend-zone. By my wife. We've been married 10 years. She doesn't want a divorce, she says it'd be too "time-consuming." FML

Invite your new girlfriend over. $10.00 says she shows some interest again.

You cannot be in the friend zone if you are married. The friend zone is for guys who are denied dates because the female claims "I don't wanna ruin our friendship" or "You're like a brother to me". The friend zone is for the unloading of passengers only.

Go for the divorce if you want it. Sounds like she has the personality of a wet mop anyways. There are also options for quick divorces. Good luck OP.

You unlock this door with the key of imagination. Beyond it is another dimension: a dimension of sound, a dimension of sight, a dimension of mind. You're moving into a land of both shadow and substance, of things and ideas. You've just crossed over into... the Friend Zone.

This makes me wonder if you still care for her, and want to work it out. If you do, you have plenty of time since she isn't going anywhere. If you don't still care, then ditto everyone else... File for divorce and get a girlfriend. Good luck!

29- Exactly. There are a lot of variables that come into play with these situations in a marriage. Since she isn't willing to actually file for divorce at this point, there is still a glimmer of hope for the relationship (assuming OP actually wants to fix things). Marriage counseling or a decent self-help marriage book (like The Love Dare) could help out quite a bit.

You do know what the friends zone is right?

Well, I would assume that it is the zone in which you are a friend, but I've been wrong before.

LOL wow, kinda speechless on this one...

That's awful OP :( get a divorce. She has no right to do that to you, and she is a selfish bitch. I can understand women losing their sex drive after having kids but you can still be intimate in other ways. Sounds like she is going to treat you like a roommate.

WINNER, sounds to me like you have a free pass to go **** some hot chicks. Something tells me the minute you show her that you can have a life without her tight-ass (not a compliment), she'll either come back to you or she'll grant you the divorce. Either way, you win!

Don't sleep with someone until after you file for divorce. If you do she can rightfully claim that you cheated and get everything.

Thinking about it, I don't want to know how many married couples live with each other just as friends... Anyway, it's a crappy marriage and if you don't want a crappy marriage, then try to work it out or divorce her anyway.

If PMS stands for "Pummel Me Swiftly", then yes.
